Complete Residential Solar Energy Permit Plan Set

We will prepare the permit plan for your solar installation to ensure city codes and NEC regulations are met to ensure approval with your first visit to the city building and safety department. We also provide any corrections and updates of the submitted solar installation plans for up to six months after the original planset is delivered, if needed, at no charge to keep solar installation costs down.

FAQ:

1. Do you provide both structural and electrical PE stamps from engineers licensed in my state?
Yes, we offer stamps for all 50 states.
 
2. Can you share names and license numbers of the engineers who will stamp the plans?
Not in advance, but this info is provided in the completed package.
 
3. What is the turnaround for a complete stamped package?
At least 1-2 weeks, It depends on the project and complexity, I have seen permits take anywhere from a few days to several months.
 
4. What is your policy if the building department requests corrections — are revisions included and free of charge?
Changes can be made free of charge for up to six months from the day of submission.
 
5. Do you offer any permit acceptance guarantee (refund or redesign if rejected)?
No, we do not (with one caveat noted here). AHJ and utility whims are beyond our control. Purchase does not guarantee a completed permit. That being said, we can do a standard return if the final rejection comes within 30 days of purchase.
 
6. Will the plan set include structural load calculations, electrical single-line diagram, layout, and equipment labels?
It includes everything there but labels, which are site specific balance-of-system items like home run cable and need to be supplied by the electrician or installer.
 
7. Can you confirm the file format of the deliverables (PDF, CAD)?
Both, depending on what is purchased.
 
8. Do you have examples of approved plans?
