Description
VELUX Fixed Skylights
An economical choice for transforming and visually expanding a room using natural light from above.
Wide Variety of Applications
Curb mount skylights can be installed on a flat or sloped roof and with a wide variety of roofing materials. They are great for new skylight installations as well as replacing existing skylights, including old plastic bubble skylights.
Eligible for the VELUX 10-year installation warranty when installed with appropriate VELUX flashing kit (sold separately) on a pitched roof using the included underlayment.
- ECL low-profile step flashing interweaves with shingles, shakes, or slate on a roof pitched between 10-60 degrees.
- ECW high-profile flashing is pliable and pleated which allows it to be formed to roof tiles on a roof pitched between 14-60 degrees.
FIXED CURB MOUNT SKYLIGHT FEATURES
3 Layers of Water Protection
10-year installation warranty when installed with appropriate VELUX flashing kit on a sloped roof. Skylight gasket, underlayment & flashing work together to prevent leaks.
Hail Warranty
Laminated glass meets building codes and the Neat® silicon dioxide glass coating disperses water evenly for quick evaporation and reduced water spotting.

The cost to install the VELUX fixed skylight will depend on how many skylights you're installing and the type of ceiling in your home. Price ranges outlined on the right side are estimates which include the cost of labor for both exterior and interior finishing work when installing a single new skylight or replacing an old skylight.
