VELUX CMD/CMDA Polycarbonate Double Dome Curb Mount Skylight

  • Polycarbonate domes provide superior impact resistance and are ideal for areas prone to severe weather conditions including hurricanes and extreme heat, so they are best suited for homes in Gulf Coast and southern border states.
  • Standard bronze tinted outer dome over clear inner dome for reduced solar heat gain and glare
  • Can choose white tinted outer dome over clear inner dome for improved light diffusion
  • Bronze dome features neutral gray aluminum frame; white dome comes with mill finish frame
  • 5-year hail warranty
  • Impact version (00BCI) has Miami-Dade County approval

Wide Variety of Applications

  • Mounts to a site-built curb (residential curbs typically made with 2x4 or 2x6 lumber)
  • Designed to be installed on flat or sloped roofs with a pitch between 0-60 degrees
  • No designated top, bottom, or sides for installation in any direction
  • Custom sizes available with a maximum skylight clearance (inches) between minimum 25 x 25 and maximum 50.75 x 76.5
