Bringing fresh air into your home through a venting skylight improves air circulation, ventilation, and air quality. Skylights visually expand a room using natural light from above. The integrated solar powered shade gives you effortless control over that light. The shade also helps block the sun's heat during the summer and retain your home's heat in the winter, which improves your skylight's energy efficiency up to 45% (varies by model and size of skylight.)

Room darkening shade features white double pleated blackout cloth with a honeycomb structure and interior aluminum coating to block even the brightest sunlight.

Wide Variety of Applications

Curb mount skylights can be installed on a flat or sloped roof and with a wide variety of roofing materials. They are great for new skylight installations as well as replacing existing skylights, including old plastic bubble skylights.

Eligible for the VELUX 10-year installation warranty when installed with appropriate VELUX flashing kit (sold separately) on a pitched roof using the included underlayment.

• ECL low-profile step flashing interweaves with shingles, shakes, or slate on a roof pitched between 10-60 degrees.
• ECW high-profile flashing is pliable and pleated which allows it to be formed to roof tiles on a roof pitched between 14-60 degrees.
