The ladder box is made of wood. Wooden frame for insulated models contains a peripheral gasket situated within the milled section of the box. Once the hatch is closed this gasket ensures proper tightness of the entire unit. Specially designed frame allows fast and convenient trim installation.2HATCH UNLOADING MECHANISM
Operation of the attic ladder is significantly improved because of FAKRO’s unique unloading mechanism. Once unlocked, the hatch opens slowly without any potential danger to the user. Once fully opened, this mechanism will also hold the hatch in position, preventing it from slamming shut. No sudden movements.3HARDWARE
The patented corner hinge re-enforces the rigidity of the box and prevents any changes in the diagonal lengths. Thanks to this, the box is not affected by any deformations and can be operated trouble free once installed.4HATCH
The attic ladder hatch can be non-insulated (made of particle board) or insulated (sandwich type). The applied thermal insulation protects against heat loss.5STEPS
The specially embossed pattern on the step surface protects the user from accidental slipping while using the ladder.6PLASTIC ENDS
Made of plastic, these protect the floor surface from scratches and in addition add to the overall ladder stability.7LADDER
The unique design and structure of the metal ladder and double connection of the ladder hinges guarantees high ladder strength. The ladder elements are powder-coated with hard wearing lacquer in grey RAL 7022.-
