Off Grids

Often called stand alone inverters, the off-grid inverters are used for independent solar energy systems installed in remote locations or used with portable equipment. There are two main types of inverters: pure sine wave and modified or square sine wave inverters. Pure sine wave inverters are the more efficient since they allow for a “smoother” flow of energy. These are required where you need power for larger appliances and electronics. A modified or square sine wave inverter is suitable where the power requirements are lower and the consistency of energy required is less. These systems are also somewhat cheaper to purchase and come from reliable brands such as Samlex, Trace, and Enphase.
